Cape Cod Drug Lawyer

Cape Cod Criminal Defense Attorney Randi J. Potash represented a young woman who was dating an alleged drug dealer. The woman was caught with over 28 grams of heroin in her pocketbook during a motor vehicle stop. The client was facing almost 10 years of mandatory minimum in state prison for trafficking in heroin in a school zone.  Result was JURY VERDICT NOT GUILTY of trafficking in heroin.

Client was pulled out of a motor vehicle and searched during a traffic stop and the officer accused him of possessing a bag of cocaine that was near the curbside. Attorney Potash was able to show the judge, that as a matter of law the evidence against him was insufficient for possessing the drugs and the VERDICT was NOT GUILTY.

Attorney Randi J. Potash represented a man who was observed to sell drugs to another by way of a hand to hand exchange. Although the client was found guilty by virtue of what the office witnessed, Attorney Potash objected to the use of the mere drug certificate to show that the evidence was in fact actually heroin. As a result of her trial skills the case was overturned on appeal and the client was released from prison.

Criminal Defense Lawyer Randi J. Potash represented a man indicted for possession with intent to distribute cocaine found as a result of a search of his apartment.
